I’ve talked with several people recently who make a fantastic caramel sauce, but it requires a lot of time and stirring. I’ve found (by happy accident) that this recipe can work without a lot of stirring.
You’ll need:
2 cups unbleached sugar
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup heavy cream, room temperature
Heavy enameled cast iron pan
Wooden spoon
Whisk
