You know how much I love to experiment with new and interesting colorways, especially when I’m feeling inspired by something. And what could be more inspiring than a rare celestial event like the upcoming Solar Eclipse?
I’ve created the colorway in a single-ply superwash merino in 450 yard length and a 3-ply supermash merino/10% cashmere/10% nylon fingering weight yarn in 450 yard length.
Angela England also created a lovely Sun Interrupted Scarf Design to highlight the splashes of color, a crochet pattern that will be released on Ravelry soon.
Meanwhile you can enter for a chance to win a free skein of yarn, and the exclusive scarf pattern, in this giveaway below. GIVEAWAY – Enter to win below, US residents only, 18 and over.

I made a gorgeous shawl from your fingering weight yarns and this special color way looks equally amazing!
Thank you, Suzy!
Oh, and I would *love* to see a picture of your shawl and add it to the photo album here if you’re willing. You can email me at bluesavannah@live.com

I’d love to make my mother the scarf with this yarn! She does not understand the beauty of fingering weight yarns. This would be perfect!
